Zomato — #[protected]-order declined without refund | |||
I had placed an order with zomato. I had pre-paid for the order. I had been constantly tracking the delivery boy and at the end moment i get a notification stating order cancelled as my phone was no reachable. When i spoke to one of d executive over a chat he blamed it on me and stated i would not get the refund either. What stupidity is this? While will a customer pay for the order and not like to take it. It can be that the delivery boy has not called me coz i have received calls from n number of people that time. Even if the boy could not reach out to me and my order was cancelled, why should i suffer and pay? So now a customer will have to pay for the delivery boy or the restaurant to eat the food if they are not reachable?? I am not sitting rich here to let some else eat my food. What about the live location which zomato has incorporated in the app? I guess they do not know about it. I need the complete refund for this order. Exactly during dat duration i have received so many other call. . Incase i had availed cash on delivery how would i be charged? Just cause i have paid the amount i should not be victimized. Which world zomato policy makers are in. There are network issue everwhere, which does not mean i will pay for someone else to eat my food. And the worst part they have no customer care number. Only chat which is left unresponded and the email as well. Incase i demand for the number they say the address all the query via chat and email? Is zomato kidding? It's high time.
