Zomato — customer care is not responding and initiating a refund

I have been a very frequent user of zomato past 2 years and have never such issues before. Since i have moved to ranchi i am facing peculiar issues from zomato.

My orders are being rejected continuously from a long time. During the initial days it was not even made clear to me that the address i have pinned is a little far from the address i have actually mentioned and hence the riders who apparently claim to be on bicycle are not able to reach my location. And top of that they don’t refuse they start negotiating with us to come half way and also if offered a good tip they agree to deliver on the exact location.

And today after my order was rejected, i reordered and the same delivery boy came with the cold food, which i assume was my previously cancelled order. If such is the case what are you charging me for in cancellation policy.

Moreover, why do they even ask us to write the address if it is of no use. Just keep the pinned location feature or please do clearly mention in app that the riders don’t care of the address that you have given and they just see the pinned location. And for the current order i do agree i should have been more careful seeing the pathetic and rude behaviour of zomato customer service and delivery people.

I have the below orders for which the amount is not being refunded to me and i am not clear of why the money is only being refunded partially and what amount has been deducted for which order. I had clearly mentioned my address and wasn’t even made aware previously that i had pinned location wrong and there are essentially more things than just the correct address that the customer needs to take care of

Cake-a-lishious: 275

Moreover last time i was assured that the order will get delivered however nobody turned up. I mean what is up with these fake promises.

The above mentioned money is a lot and i want the refund as soon as possible
