Zomato — failure on service quality, no response on complaint and asked to go for consumer complain

I ordered lunch (Chola batura) on zomato on 17th february'19 from hotel udipi home and made the payment through paytm.

The quality of food was pathetic - half cooked, only water in curry only few pieces of chola, it seemed it was left over. Further, no plate, no spoon and no bowl was provided.

I immediately contacted support service at zomato and made the complain to either replace the food or refund the money. I was made to wait for over 25 minutes and was said that higher authority will take the decision. But till now no decision has been taken. I asked twice if they want the photo of the food for their verification and processing or shall i put the food in dustbin. But no response was received on this aswell. Then i mentioned that in case they could not take any decision i will take the issue at appropriate forum to which the support person replied that yes they can help.

I feel that these people have taken the customers for granted and are least borthered about consumer forum.

So request that consumers should stands united and this consumer forum should take stern action on the complain. I am not the only one and this is not the firs time they have failed on their service and cheated the consumers.

Request necessary action should be taken so that they work honestly and with full integrity.
