Zomato — fraud in terms of refund | |||||
I wanted to cancel my order, i spoke to zomato staff, he accepted to refund, as i gad already payed through paytm. He said that the "refund was successfully initiated". And i will get my money back withun 48hrs. After these 48hrs the actual story begins... Tell me guys. If you say that you've already initiated the refund then why after few days you say that it was miscommunication and i won't be given any refund. Now when i again spoke to them, they were like, sorry we cannot initiate the refund After wasting 3hrs speaking to zomato support, they told me that the refund was generated and, also gave me refund initiation id, and told me that paytm was at fault, as zomato has successfully refunded, then i spent the other half of my day figuring out the issue with paytm. Paytm finally said that, rest assured we didn't receive any money from zomato, whenever we receive it we will credit it to your a/c. Now a few hrs before it was my sleep time, i again tried asking the zomato support about what were they up to. Now they said that, whatever they said before, they termed it as "miscommunication" and the order which was canceled would not be refunded, ever. Now after that even i ask for a refund the standard answer the have is "sorry but we can't refund you your money" Was this information helpful? | |||||
