I erroneously placed order on 12th May 2024 at 10:23 pm Order Id-#[protected] and immediately saught to cancell it. No option to cancellation was provided in order section and upon choosing "Chat with me" and AI enabled Chat bot continuously declined my request even when the food was ordered just seconds before!
I tried to contact restaurant and they told to cancell through zomato app.
ZOmato does not provide any customer service number, the only way to address our concern on immediate basis is to go through an AI which has pre-recorded response and does not help in real sense.
I had no choice but to accept the order even when i did not need it, when such wastage could have been prevented but due to lack of redressal policies by zomato, such order was imposed on me and i was made to pay for the order which i did not want!
Further, zomato does not have quantity details on items posted.
My right to information is hampered, my right to cancellation is hampered, my right to choice and right to redressal is hampered due to inadequate redressal policies of zomato and non-availability of customer care number or executives on call.
