Zomato — order canceled after one hour of waiting | |||||
Had placed an order with zomato, for a veg triple schezwan fried rice at Had ordered a veg triple schezwan fried rice from dynasty (Santacruz west) which is 10 mins away from my office through zomato. After waiting for an hour, i called the restaurant, to my surprise they informed me that they do not accept any orders through zomato. After that i reached zomato through their chat page. At the same time i got a call from zomato apologizing that they cannot delver this order. After chatting for quite sometime, they were only sorry for the incident. Later they, came up stating they have credited an amount of 124/- in my zomato wallet. I have informed them that their credit is not going to return my precious time and i am the one who remains hungry. Shame on zomato!!! This has not only wasted my time as well as the all the effort of the delivery guy who went all the way to the restaurant to collect the food and to give information to the back end team to please inform me about the same. But the back end team got back to me only after the delivery guy told them to. It had been ignored for the entire one hour. Waste of time, money (They said it will be refunded with 2-7 working days) and waste of someone's energy and petrol. I pity the delivery boys. You treat them like machines and not humans.
