Zomato — Refund not done by Zomato | |||
I ordered from The food banquet restaurant in Tollygunge kolkata at 10:12 pm on 11th June 2020. I don't knw the timing but after much later the Zomato valet called me and told me he is far away in Behala so it will be very late and he can't come but I told I need to get the food as I was hungry and I need it coz I paid. The Zomato valet told he will do something and food will come. I started tracking my food on zomato and the time started decreasing from 40 mins to 36 and so on. So I thought food was coming. After 1 hour at 11pm the restaurant called me and told that the zomato valet is very far and he can't come and told me that another Zomato valet who is coming in replace to the 1st Zomato valet is also very far and the restaurant has prepared my food at 10:00pm only. So if they deliver the food I would get cold food. I told I don't know I want the food. The restaurant told me to cancel through Zomato app and I will get the money. After much thinking I did it but couldn't as in the Zomato app it was written that all Zomato executives are busy and I should mail it to Zomato email. I did it and didn't get the reply as of now nor the refund. That night only I saw it as written order cancelled in the app so I thought I got the refund but after checking the day after tomorrow I saw no I didn't get the refund. What to do?
