Zoom Car — booking id: jps62k1la - asking an amount of 10000 inr for a normal tyre puncture - stating the rim was damaged | |||
Booking id: jps62k1la As per my knowledge, the booking was made in advance with full payment. I got a puncture in the car while on the way to the drop time of the car. It was a normal puncture. During the time of the drop of the car, there was no other damage than the front tyre puncture. Asking a charge of 10000 inr against a puncture is illegitimate. On talking to the executive, i was informed that the rim was also damaged which does not make sense. I would not know if the car had any internal damage (On the rim) during pick-up. Over and above the zoomcar has accidental insurance covered and if there is any major damage, it is supposed to be insured. Then asking such ridiculous amount only seems like a business growing strategy after getting a customer base. Please stop this unfair and non-standard practice of charging users for small incidents with such high amounts. Then provide legal notices to try to recover whatever you want. Stop it.
