[Resolved]  Zoom Car — complaint regarding the charges applied for the damage to tire (issue regarding booking no zoomcar booking: jp6 faltu)

This complaint is regarding the charges that have been applied to my zoomcar booking no.
The baleno car that i booked from zoomcar got a flat tire at ramtek location in nagpur.
Then i called the zoomcar service centre at..[protected] to assist me on this flat tire issue. They told me to replace the flat tire with the spare tyre but the tool kit was missing in the car.
The call centre agent provided no help and told us get help from nearby place, but being at a remote distance there was no way of getting help from any shop around.

Then we called the nagpur zoomcar office at [protected] to get some help, so they told that they will send a person to help us with the issue from nearby place and they will update us about the mechanic they are sending. After not receiving any update on the complain, we called the nagpur zoomcar office, then only they informed that there is no person coming for the help and we will have to arrange the help ourself.
But then we explained that we were nowhere around the city or any shop to get the tire issue repaired, then the nagpur service agent told us to drive the car with flat tire to nearby shop which was around 7-8 kms approximately and get it repaired and take bill for the damages that would be refunded by zoomcar, since they were unable to provide any solution to us.

As driving a car with flat tire would have damged the car rims and also the car tire, so we guys though that it is not a good option to go with and get a mechanic itself.
So one o[censored]s went to neaby puncher shop which was more than 8kms and brought a mechnic to replace the flat tyre with the spare tyre.
There the mechanic didnt gave any bill for the repair, and told us about the condition of the tyre that got flat.
He told us that the tyre was in a very bad condition and we were lucky that it didnt take place on highway or else the tyre would have bursted and would have met with an accident.

So when we returned the car to the person at the returning spot, where he inspected the flat tyre and told us that we have to pay for the damaged tyre.
We tried to tell him what happened in the journey but he was talking rudely and was not even responding properly. He was just telling that we will have to pay the charges and was not listening. Then we told him to listen to us once, then at the end he told that its ok and we can leave.

But now i am seeing an outstanding of 7000 for damages,
I cant understand how can charges be applied to customer for the tyres that were already in a bad condition.
Please help with this issue.

We did review your complaint and it is disappointing for us to know that you were not happy with your zooming experience. We do follow a strict protocol in ensuring that the vehicles are well maintained. We are sorry for the trouble you had to go through during your reservation.

Upon checking, we see that our team has been already shared an update on the escalation raised. We did inspect the vehicle post drop off and we find that the spare Tyre is damaged during your reservation. Hence, the charge has been levied on the booking.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reverse the charge.

You provide car rental service to the customer where the tire get wears on trips.
Isn't it your responsibility to check the health of the tires and inspect it beforehand to delivering the car to customer. And if the tire which is not in a good condition gets damaged during any customer trip, you will be charging those customers for the damages of the improper tyre, well that not fair enough.

Also let me know the breakdown of charges that has been applied. On what basis Rs.7000 has been charged.
Please provide detailed explaination.

I booked a car for 1407rupees & for some reason I had to cancell it, then they deducted 704rupees as a cancellation charge.I booked it on 15/02/2019 at 8PM & cancelled it at9PM for 16/02/2019, then for what reason they deducted this huge amount of704rupee,
