[Resolved]  Zoom Car — Humiliating and demanding money for damages that i am not responsible for

I booked a car from them about a month back. The car broke down after a few kms. I was stranded in the middle of a highway for 4 hours because the car stopped for no reason. After which they did not provide another car so that we can go home. It was night and we were alone on the highway without any help. They should have checked the car before giving it so that it does not stop anywhere leaving the customer helpless. We could have been mugged there or something might have happened. It was night with no people around and on top of it, it was raining. After 4 hours finally the tow truck came and took us to the service center which was in the opposite direction that we were supposed to go in. But we had no option because they didn't give us one. Although they could have by providing us with another car. I would just like to point it out that this happened with me when i booked a car from Myles and they immediately came to the site with assistance along with a replacement car which now makes me think was so much better. After reaching the service center, we were assured that we will be provided with a cab so that we could return to our destination. This again didn't happen leaving us helpless yet again. We literally had to arrange it ourselves somehow. Everyone was calling to confirm whether the car has reached the service center or not but i did not even get a single call asking me whether i would like to take a cab. First of all it was their fault and they didn't even help. I talked to one of their managers as well. He told me that the company will pay for the cab and that i just need to call them. But I could not because all the numbers were busy and it was getting disconnected automatically. This was the first time that i felt so much humiliated and helpless. There was no follow up call after we reached the service center and we had to arrange everything ourselves. If that would have been the case, i would have booked a cab initially itself. Why would i need their company's service. Finally somehow i reached my place after struggling so badly. Next day i wake up to see that after all the humiliation that i have been through, i have been charged with damage charges. Instead of reimbursing and accepting their mistakes, they charged me for it. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with any company that is in this business. I would want them to apologize and to clear all the charges that should have not been put under my name since i am not responsible for the same.

Almost similar and other problems I have too faced. I am filling a legal complaint against Zoom car.
