[Resolved]  Zoom Car — zoomcar debited 32000 from my card for their faulty car.

I booked a car from this fraud company zoomcar on 11th july. I had to pickup car at 1:30 in night. When i reached at pickup spot it was heavily raining. Firstly their car was not starting but on trying 4-5 times it started and i started moving out of the pickup spot. Pickup spot was in a apartment. As soon as i left the pickup spot there was water on road just in front of the apartment. My other car just went off from that water easily but their car suddenly stopped. At 1:40 we called them for road assistance. They sent a guy after 2 hours and he was unable to fix the car so he went back and told this matter to car company that is hyundi. They again took 2 hours to come. And whole night we were stuck in their car. Then they also were not able to fix the car so they said they will send a toe truck to toe the car, so we again waited 2 hours waiting for toe truck to come and pick their car up and around 6'o clock in morning finally toe truck came and took vehicle. Meanwhile we told police that zoomcar is not picking up the call and we are stuck here. So obiviously police has seen the spot when car was. It was just in front of the pickup spot.. After few days i saw a outstanding amount on my booking of rs. 32000 and since i payed with credit card so they had my car pre authorised and warned me if i didn't pay 32000 then they will automatically cut it. And that's what they did. Reason they gave to us after repeatedly calling their executives was that vehicle was driven in a water locked area so they can't refund our money. Now please tell me what's my fault if it's raining and roads are filled up with water. Will the customer not lwave the pickup spot. M i a fool to run car in water filled roads but if the water is just in front of pickup spot then what can i do. I'm a student and 32000 is not even the salary of my parents. They also don't reply you or tell you anything. No bills were given. It's a fraud company. You can see several other people complaining the same as they charge any random amount to their customers without any reason. Please help me.

Greetings!

Upon checking, we see that the update has been already shared with regard to the levied charge, as the vehicle was driven at the water-locked region, due to which the vehicle was damaged. Hence, the charge is valid, we regret we will not be able to waive off the charge.
