[Resolved] Zoomcar — (booking id JPS6V4A7F) for not providing bill for the payment and not refunding back the required amount from security deposit | |||||
I had booked Amaze ( KA031B8187) online from zoomcar website on 15Dec, 2016 for 16Dec, 2016. I had paid Rs 5000 as security deposit and spent Rs 1300 on fuel. Still while returning back the vehicle, I got call from the firm that I have not paid 5000Rs as security deposit, when I said them that I will show them my account transaction details then they agreed to it. They had given the vehicle with just 10% fuel (without any prior information) because of which we had to suffer a lot in search of liquid cash and card payment petrol pump. We even talked to the doorstep delivery driver and his reference guy regarding time extension or money redemption since we had to waste almost 2 hours in search on card payment petrol pump and liquid cash. After all this at last at 8.30 pm they agreed to extend the time without any extra payment. But now they have charged Rs 115 and 300 as late fee and late charge respectively. Even they have charged damage fees as Rs 4000, but we had returned the vehicle in the same condition as they had given us. This is not the first time that students of IIT- Madras are facing problem with zoom service. These people do not even pay attention towards their customer phone calls, how can someone expect for other grievance hearings? I even went to zoomcar office located in IT Express way, Chennai to ask for bill for my booking and other charges but they negotiated. Again I got the same respond that talk to customer care. I made a call to customer care of zoomcar but again they were not responsive as always. I told the man in the office to give me hand written proof atleast so that I can have some legal document of my booking. cancelled the booking and went for a local self drive company at the last moment.
i wld call it a worst first experience.
