[Resolved]  Zoomcar — cheating and unjustified claims to extort money

I booked a tata hexa car from zoomcar, jaipur (Booking id-jps64nj7n) car no-dl1na2736 on 16th nov.

The car provided too me was in very bad shape. But i had to accept. As soon as i took the car on highway the plastic bidding of the windshield came out which i reported to customer care along with the other issues in the car. The representative told me to ret it repaired and claim the bills which he told would be around re 50. But i managed it temporarily. This bidding was already in a damaged condition when i collected the vehicle but noticed after i collected the vehicle.

When i returned the car they put me a charge of rs 1500 on this. I again called the customer care but they said that i will have to pay this amount and literally forced me to accept this amount, otherwise they would not accept the car.

I raised a written complaint against this amount of rs 1500 which was charged to me. And every time they replied that they have verified and the claims are right.
Yesterday i asked them to verify the ivms system report and go thru the customer care recording.. Instead of sharing me with the reports they have send a recovery notice to me.
Its clearly a case where they don't want to resolve and instead take the money forcefully or by threatening us.

We are sorry to know that there is a discrepancy in the charges. We did check the above issue and see that the charges levied on the booking were invalid, hence the same has been reversed.
