A couple of days ago, I booked a self drive car using Zoom cars. My specifications were very clear, I need a seven seater and I needed it delivered home. Exactly, a day before the booked date, I get an alert stating that the car would not be delivered to my location and I would need to pick it up. However there was no mention of refunding the delivery fee. I raised a query through their app and did not receive any response. Then literally an hour after that, somebody called me and informed that the car I booked apparently had an accident and they would give me a smaller car as a replacement for the same price, since "they did not have the same category car" I asked for a refund, to which I was read out the script that it will take 30 days, but they refused to give that commitment in writing. I went back into the app and checked, I found that that is hey had increased the prices as the car category I had booked was available for an additional 600 Rupees. It's appalling that a company like Zoom have stooped to such low levels to make some extra money. There is absolutely no apology or courtesy and the person who called me sounded frustrated herself. So much for employee and customer satisfaction. I immediately booked my car through Revv. Was this information helpful? | |||
