Zoomcar — [JPS 7GX] Fastag Recharge deducted twice and excess deductions are not refunded

Had rented a car from Zoomcar [Booking ID - JPSN7GEGX]. Was told by the customer services that I can recharge for fasttag with the car's registration number. I had recharged enough for a one way trip only to see the balances disappeared after crossing 2 tolls, with remaining 3 tolls yet to be crossed. say I had recharged for 500 Rs and crossed two tolls that costed 200, balance had become 0 and 300 disappeared only to be stopped in next toll as blacklisted. Further I had recharged again to avoid delays in the toll booths, and then again the balance has disappeared. When called the customer care, i was told they would compare the fasttag statement and refund whatever balances that disappeared after validating recharge vs utilization. Believing that I continued to recharge and keep seeing the balances disappear and final calculation was that i had recharged for 1600 in total for a toll that costed 800 rs.. almost the double. After the end of trip i had again called the customer care who confirmed the backend settlement team would validate the toll statement [as they don't have access to it] and refund the excess recharges i had paid from my side which in this case is 800 rs and i was asked to mail [protected]@zoomcar.com with recharge screenshots and I did send all the screenshots for my recharges that clearly indicates the vehicles registration numbers with date/time.

Subsequently, zoomcar customer team started asking for toll receipts and i had call and then explain them again it was a fasttag deduction and they are supposed to validate the fasttag deductions at toll vs what was recharged and see where the excess recharges disappeared. They continued asking for toll receipts which is available only if you pay cash. I had clarified by calling their customer support and further talking to one of the supervisors who acknowledged the issue and further said he is providing this clarification and detail to settlement team.

From what i undersood, the fasttag was issued by paytm and whenever i had recharged the balances were utilized for some other purpose by the paytm wallet linked to it. Zoomcar despite promising to validate, didn't attempt to even validate the fasttag statements.

Now, there is no response and they had also closed my complaint and cannot reach them through the app and mails are not responded too.

Please help get my refund of 800 rs from zoomcar.
