Broomees is a service based company to provide household services like Cooks, Helpers etc. I had enrolled myself on this platform to avail cook services in Gurgaon, Haryana.
I made an initial payment of Rs 49 to book the cook for trial in the last week of April'23. I was told, I need to buy there minimal subscription plan for 3 months in order to avail a cook. On 1st May'23, I paid Rs 7291.22.
After paying the amount, I had to wait for 4 days for the confirmation and then on 4th May'23 they shared a profile of a cook and confirmed that from very next day. i.e. from 5th May'23 onwards cook will start the service for which I paid.
But then their cook refused to come on two subsequent days, and we were keep waiting for her and company was not all responsive on this. When we informed the company, they alloted a new replacement cook. Even she blatantly refused to come on the face of company's operations team. It's been 4 days, we haven't availed cook service and our money is stuck, and we are asking politely company to cancel our subscription and refund our money back, they are rudely refusing to return our money. Note that, we haven't availed the service, everyday we had to eat from outside and our money is stuck with the company, and they are claiming that they will look for a new cook, but I haven't heard back from them.
