So since my mobile sim is of vodafone and i have a red plan i was offered a vodafone shield insurance. On the 9th of april 2019, i fainted and my display went off so i immediately claimed for it. The process is real slow and they do not work as per the tat they promise. When i raised the claim they told me they would call in 48 hours but if i wanted to verify i should call the number. Funny thing they don't transfer the call if you call from an unregistered number. My phone display is gone, i dont have a spare phone, plus noone is ready to give me a phone. I waited and then i had to beg one person to give me their phone so that i could put my simcard and call. After verifying the situation, i received a mail with the form and a list of docs to submit (Email sent on 11th april 3pm) i replied back on 12th april 2019 at 10am, it said that they would take 24-28 hours for verifying. On 15th april they send me a mail saying there were incomplete documents and the document missing was the imei number on the display screen after dialing some number. Like are you serious were you guys intoxicated while i claimed the status.. I wrote an email saying the display is not working.. 16th april spoke to one guy in the morning he told me in 30 mins i would get an update, no surprise but there was no update and i was trying to get in touch continuously but no luck... Now it again says it will take 48 hours to verify the documents... Like what the hell. I was happy that i got insurance with the red plan and insurance is for the customers to not only save money but time. Over here not only my time was wasted but my work was hampered big time. Their numbers dont work... Conveniently vodafone has put a clause that they only distribute this and are not responsible and you cant get in touch with anyone from shotformat blah blah blah.!
