I joined Colive Minneapolis 554 on May 28th 2023. I paid the rent for one month(₹7000) and ₹ 2000 as deposit. Then I paid the rent for June (₹7000).
Since June second week, there is no water in the bathroom and even to drink in the PG. I have complained to the manager, the owner and also the operational manager about this, they kept saying it will be fixed but nothing was done. I waited patiently until last week of June. Meanwhile I was either going to my friends PG or relatives house to take a bath, to use the bathroom or even to drink water.
After a while the manager stopped responding and there was still no water. So I decided to vacate the PG on June 30th 2023 since there is not even a basic need for a human to live in this PG. What have I given the rent for? Atleast one should give basic needs like water or atleast get it repaired soon.
Now, when I am leaving, the manager suddenly picks up the call and says I can’t get the refund of the deposit amount since I did not raise a notice period in their application before I was leaving.
I decided to leave the PG on June 30th because there was no water, so how can I even raise a notice that I will leave? Don’t they have even a little brains to understand this? They are telling they cannot give refund unless I give a notice period.
I need the refund (9000 deposit amount + 50% of June’s rent due to lack of water and I could not live here) within 1 week or I will raise this issue to higher authorities. Please respond fast. Was this information helpful? |
