My profile Id is AW34920599. I was pursued and convinced to make a purchase of Exclusive Assisted Matrimony Service of Rs 16000 by Agent Satyabrata Samanta (Kolkata- Please check your system because I used his code to pay the money online) on 24.10.2021. Immediately after the payment of money all perusals stopped.
After two working days, after repeated calling on my part, to your customer care, I got a revert call from my Relationship Manager (Anindita Dhar). She took very basic information about me over phone (nothing more than what was already feeded-in by me on the profile when I opened the same).
We had a specific criteria of Kolkata based grooms, good qualification, and we were told that relationship manager will be tactful enough to coordinate with my mother (who is not tech savvy), and not me, regarding matrimonial things. Satyabrata Samanta convinced us to pay by saying he will provide us 'hidden profiles' which we will not see via normal search, 'profiles outsourced from news papers' and other 'elite matrimonial sources', and relationship manager will make special effort to re-stylise my profile in PDFs for convenient and special circulation over whatsapp. We categorically got convinced by these words, because otherwise, we know very well how to search APB weddings app in details. We thought it will help my mother to handle.
But, withing 5 minutes after our Relationship Manager (Anindita Dhar) took my basic details, she called back to say:
1. 'I cannot give you the basic 2-4 profiles/week match, as promised, for 6 months. Forget about 4 matches, not even 2 matches will be available'. We don't have enough match for you to pull up that far' (in clear Bengali).
2. When I expressed my immediate concern, she casually said: 'Ok fine, in that case, I will give you something or the other bare minimum to fill-up the quota'.
This is absolutely unacceptable. We did not pay for such casual service! Money is hard earned. Not for wasting!
3. She told me, that my agent, who convinced me to pay made false promises like that we will be shown hidden profiles, outsourced profiles, or there are many profiles that fit on my dual criteria of Location(Kolkata) and Qualification. There are none. And she will show only registered profiles on ABP (which we can already see by searching ourselves)!
4. Expecting relationship manager will be tactful and aware and a good talker (since she will represent me) when I asked one basic thing :That if a profile matches, if we need to see the salary certificate, can you tactfully help me fetch the same? (By merely asking from a neutral and official position, a mediator ideally can, and should. If we are to do everything, what is the requirement of an agent!) She clearly said: 'No. You have to do yourself'. We understood, she will not even make an effort! This attitude matters a lot.
5. Last, after hearing all my concerns, she told me irritatedly as a response that : ' Ok fine then ! I will take no interest in your profile'!!!
6. I immediately called Satyabrata Samanta (The Agent) - He was hard to get! He was no more available like before. I called customer care more than twice. I was asked to email. I visited ABP store near Golpark, Kolkata. They were also apprehensive of my situation and asked me to email and contact head office. I already asked for change of my Relationship Manager to Satyabrata Samanta on 26th late evening. He did nothing. I did not get any promised call back from him or others from your company.
4.The same relationship manager (Anindita Sur) called me on 27th afternoon and gave me 2 matches over email. Both the profiles belonged to prospectives who were settled abroad. The first profile was that of a Research Scholar whose home-town was perhaps West Bengal but his workplace was clearly USA. But I realised my Agent was clueless and she doesn't even understand that a Research Scholar working in a USA university is clearly based abroad! The second match had a line clearly stated that the groom on presently working in Singapore!! It is given in the Second Line!!! She did not even bother reading anything. With these two redundant matches she finished my Quota of minimum 2 matches per week!
This is insane! I do not want to negotiate anything with any one of your managers or agents further. I want my FULL MONEY BACK! If, I am harassed like this, I will not mind going to a greater extent to file a suit or a legal complaint against your company. Your fake promised should stop. Company should work in a more aware and informed manner when they are dealing with clients. Your so called exclusive schemes come in an exorbitantly high rate with zero idea or intention to treat a client 'exclusively'.
I need my refund of 16000/-. I do not want any amendment or further assurances with regard to service, any more. I expect a promt reply. I will not wait.
