Air India — Cancelled flight, delayed flight, night in airport | |||||
Air India cancelled our flight from Delhi to Goa AI659 at1700 on 28 November.. We had less than a day notice. We are on an organised tour. We had to cut our day short and go to the airport to find another flight. We are a group of 12. Our guide eventually got us on a flight via Mumbai AI102 boarding 15.55. Then it was delayed and we missed our connection to Goa. Air India said they would get us on flight next morning and provide a hotel. But instead they made us wait many hours standing in the terminal until midnight away from the departures lounge nd without any access to water or food. They finally allowed us into their Loyalty Lounge where we had refreshments. Everyone was very tired ecause we had little sleep the previous nigbt when we had travelled by train from Jodhpur in a crowded three tier sleeper. We had to wait 5 hours. We finally boarded a flight departing 6.00 for Goa. We lost our prepaid night at the hotel and our morning tour and our time in Goa had to be rearranged. We request compensation.
