Air India — complaint against airport staff of air india for misdeeds & rude behaviour with senior citizen | |||
I, jaspal singh aged 65 yrs, senior citizen not feeling well was to board air india flight no. Ai-678 attached - airindia e-ticket#[protected] dt.27/11/17 at 9 am the cost incurred was rs.3390/-. I was not well, still i reached airindia counter 45 minutes before departure. The helpdesk people rushed me to the counter & also shouted to the concerned officer that mumbai passenger is here & counter row is open/closed, which they replied counter is open, send the passenger. But when i gave them my ticket for boarding pass, they kept it with them for about 5 minutes & later on they returned the ticket & said you are late by 6 minutes, which is mentioned on my ticket by them, now the counter is closed. I went pillar to post with a request to permit me to board this flight, but air india senior staff were also adamant & rude with me, refused & told that they cannot do anything. I made several requests for helping me to board the flight as i was on time & counter was not closed as they already confirmed this to the helpdesk staff, which may be all clear in the cctv footage at the airport. I was to travel for a very important meeting at mumbai, which i could not afford to miss. Now that i have missed this very important meeting today i. E 1.30pm at mumbai, this has made me suffer a huge loss of more than rupees 10 lakhs & i had also to immediately buy another ticket for evening flight of airindia to mumbai attached - airindia flight no. A1 102 e-ticket#[protected] dt.27/11/17 at 5 pm costing rs.7905/-, where i was refused for senior citizen discount as this ticket was not booked 7 days in advance. I call upon air india to pay me double the airfares of both the flights amounting to rs.22590/- & also damages for the harrassment, time & business loss, which is due to the high headedness & misbehaviour of air india with a senior citizen, which was intentionally & deliberately done by them to extract money, which is very bad practice against the law of humanity & legally. Now that if i don't hear soon from you, i shall take legal action against air india & also i shall have to approach all media for this misbehaviour & harrassment done by air india with passengers (Senior citizens), which will be at air india cost & consequences thereafter.
