Sir,

I want to draw your kind attention towards a severe uprising problem in our locality, which we are facing in our locality. I am a resident of Mondal Para Lane Kolkata 700090 (Baranagar), West Bengal, India.

There are more than 450+ gold cutting factories in our locality which are working illegally day and night and emanating hazardous gas . The locality is highly populated and is completely a residential area. This gold cutting factories are causing immense pollution which is leading to severe diseases like Tuber Culosis, Lung Cancer, chronic respiratory disease, and other related diseases.

Many complaints have been registered against them but they are backed by our local councillor Shri Shri Brajen Mondal and the Police doesn't pay any heed to our request. Possibly the Police and our local councillor takes some fixed bribe from them and as such they don't take any prompt or positive action against them.

The gas which comes out from this Gold cutting Factory is extremely dangerous and we feel choked and suffocated when inhaled.

Sir, therefore, I kindly and humbly request you to please take some positive and immediate action against this Illegal act.

These Illegal Gold Smith Factories are playing with our lives. Our lives are in stake !!!

Please help us !!!
