I came to know about this company Alfa Finance based out of Sikandarpur Gurgaon, though they have more branches in Delhi NCR but I happened to interact with Ankit from Alfa Finance sits at Sikandarpur office in Oct '16.
On 4th Oct '16 I got myself registered for an instant loan facility by paying Rs 5200 in their HDFC bank acc (a/c no. [protected]) a/c holder name is Ajit who is the Director of this company.
I was told that I will get the loan amount in next 2-4hrs same day i.e. on 4th Oct '16 itself, but it did not happened and other day on 5th Oct'16 Parvinder (Loan Officer) informed me that I need to pay Rs 15000 for the loan to be processed and sanctioned, this 15k will be adjustable later on once I get the loan amount, against the 5 % of the total loan amount which I have to give once I get the loan. I was in urgent need of this loan so paid Rs 15k on 5th Oct'16 online to their Axis Bank account ( a/c no.[protected] a/c holder name of this Axis Bank account is also Ajit.
Again, for next few days I did not got the loan amount and then Ankit and Parvinder informed me that again there is some objection in my loan file so I need to pay Rs 12800 as guarantor fee without which they can not process my loan application further but this would be refundable in full alongwith loan payment, now after much discussion I paid this amount also on 10th Oct'16 online to their Axis Bank account.
Ankit told me this would be the last payment I have to make and if anything comes later he will pay from his pocket because these all charges were surprise for me and were not told initially that I will have to make all these payment prior to getting the loan.
Now again, same thing got repeated again, I still did not got the loan amount even after paying Rs 12800/-, as always assured by Ankit that I will get the loan post 2-4 hrs of this payment. Another 3-4 days passed by chasing and following with them and then I am informed of service tax charges of Rs 8500/-by Parvinder, which is mandatory . As per my discussions with Ankit I paid Rs 3500 on 19th Oct'16 and rest was agreed then to me managed by them.
On 19th Oct'16 Ankit said he will himself go to Parvinder's office to complete all formalities and get the loan disbursed before him.I spoke with him when he was on his way to Parvinder's office, he told he will call me once he reaches there, but this fellow disappeared God knows where after that, he stopped answering my calls for next few days. I had to chase him with different nos. and then happened to catch hold of him on 26th Oct'16 and he told he had not deposited the tax amount till then because he had to go out of station urgently. I once again told him to do urgently because Diwali was approaching and again there will be holidays and process would be delayed, but again there was no further updates for next few days.
But it happened the same everything was help up for Diwali and post Diwali in next few days after till Jan '17 both Parvinder and Ankit were totally
unavailable, Ankit cell no. was 'temporarily out of service ' and Parvinder's cell no was not answered / switched off.
Then one fine day, during first week of Jan'17 Ankit himself called me and informed that due to demonetization govt. had sealed operations of pvt. ltd. companies all across delhi but they are back into operations now. When I asked Ankit and Parvinder about my loan application status, they told its lying in pending status because i had partially paid the service tax amount.
I told Parvinder and Ankit that I am not going to pay them anything now, if they can get the loan sanctioned good enough or else cancel the application and refund the amount.
They were after me like anything that after paying so much, now for small amount why I want to cancel the loan . Now again, after much discussion and the assurance given by Parvinder I once again paid Rs 4700/- online in their same Axis bank account on 19th JAN'17, I had the word with Parvinder and he said next day by 11:00 am max I will get the loan amount.
The features of this loan which I was told were very attractive plus I had need of this loan, so every time when these people use to tell me that just in next 2-4 hrs I will get the loan amount, I paid them believing their words.
The same story repeats and there was no loan amount disbursed even next day i.e. 20th Jan'17, Parvinder and Ankit again stopped answering my calls there phone kept on ringing but no answer, I had no clue now what went wrong when Parvinder told next day morning he will get the loan amount transferred so why it did not happened and why are they not answering my call??
This time I contacted Shiva, he is also the employee of Alfa Finance but sits in different office. I told him everything in detail and asked him to help me, through him I came to know Parvinder and Ankit are not answering my phone because they want me to pay another Rs 10k, they were not having the face to ask me for this amount so they were not answering my call.
They said 'Bas 10k aur de deejiye aur bank jake apna amount withdraw kar leejiye". Now I was only communicating through Shiva, he was acting like a mediator in between me Parvinder and Ankit.
Shiva also tried convincing Parvinder to curtail this amount at my request (Parvinder and Ankit were not answering my calls) but there stood firm on what they said once, that pay Rs 10k and get your amount from the bank.
Finally, Shiva told me that he will work on my loan application and get the work done provided I pay this Rs 10k also because without which Parvinder will not do his bit to support him, I am actually in need of loan and was again carried away so paid Rs 10k online to their same Axis bank account on 31st jan'17. Thereafter, Shiva took charge of my loan application and he started working on it, it took few days, I was knowing right from the beginning that Parvinder transfers the loan amount but not sure what was happening, Shiva after few days started approaching government bank for sanctioning of loan, during all this time now I was only speaking with Shiva, he was working on my file and Parvinder and Ankit were not even answering my calls. Last I spoke to Parvinder was on 19th of Jan'17.
Then one day Shiva told me that there is some problem with the documents I submitted, I actually submitted the documents right at the beginning of the process in Oct '16 and whatever Ankit asked me to submit I did that. Knowing this I really got annoyed and told Shiva very categorically to cancel the application once and of all and get the amount refunded. I had paid them Rs 51200 till date, I was told nearly Rs 10k will be deducted and rest would be refunded, so I would be getting Rs 42k as refunded amount by 13th or 14th Feb'17. Unfortunately, 10th Feb'17 was Shiva's last working day in Alfa Finance I requested him to process the refund before he leaves because it will be problem for me later as Ankit and Parvinder were not answering my calls. Shiva tried to get me my refund till his last working day but it did not happened. Later, when he is telling them to do they are not listening to him as he has moved out of the company.
Alfa Finance is one the fraud companies running by a unscrupulous people like Ankit and Shiva who are just fooling people in the name of this loan. I have seen 5-6 complaints dated Oct'16 -Nov'16 with same names of Parvinder, Ajit and the bank account no. as well as the mobile nos. are the same which were mentioned in the complaint. I wish I had seen these earlier..
