Allahabad Bank — Rude behavior of chief manager

I, Amaresh Sarkar(Mobile-[protected]) from Konnagar, West Bengal had lodged an online complaint (ALBCARE17392) on 20th May 2016 against the rude behavior of CM of Allahabad Bank in Konnagar.

No doubt Allahabad Bank is one of the reputed Nationalized Bank and because of this reputation my parents have their account activated with this bank. For such a good reputation, we(I and my wife) went to Konnagar Branch of Allahabad Bank for education loan as my parent advised me and so my Management College too. We waited for almost 1 hour in front of CM's office as he was busy with his work. My wife just entered his cabin to ask about the loan then he said yes they give loan and asked her to wait outside. As we were waiting outside, another client/customer came and went inside the cabin as soon as manager finished with his work with other client. The Manager asked them to sit in his cabin in spite o[censored]s standing outside and waiting for long. On seeing this my wife entered the cabin and asked CM that since we were waiting so long it was our turn, to this CM replied that ~ if you don't have 5 minute to wait then you can leave. He is not bound to give us loan and neither it is possible for him to follow so many rules(regarding the queue outside his cabin). My wife said that we need the loan to which he said that there are other banks too who gives loan, he is not the only one who gives loan. After that my wife came out of his cabin and we again waited for him to finish up with his client. After he is done, I entered his cabin and as I said I need education loan, the CM simply denied on my face that "We don't give education loan", he didn't even bothered to hear anything after that. After this we lodged a complain against his rude and unprofessional behavior. If you don't believe then I will pray your good self to have a look at your CCTV footage.

We may belong to a average middle class family and may look like very invaluable customer to you but I, my mother, wife and brother works in a reputed firm as you. We all know how to deal with our customer/client and I think when an Institution who provides service to the customer/client behaves indifferently with their client based on their face value or whatever shouldn't be approached for any services.

Today CM indeed called us to know what is the reason behind the complaint and asked to visit the Bank again to carry out the education loan but we don't want to waste his valuable time neither wanted us to get humiliated. We have already approached other bank for the loan and don't wish to carry out any services with you.

I will appreciate that at least our complaint has some value and the action was taken but I learned a greatest lesson from you and would never ever approach for any kind of service from your bank.
