Amazon India Customer Care's response Ref No. 6460
We have perused the complaint received from Mr. Vijay Tak and find that he had already cancelled the order for one Redmi Y3 (Elegant Blue, 3GB RAM, 32MP Selfie Camera, 32GB Storage, 4000mAH Battery) ("Product"), purchased from the independent third party seller, i.e., Darshita Aashiyana Private Limited ("Seller") on the website: www.amazon.in ("Website"), even before the same could be shipped by the Seller.
It is submitted that a refund for a value of Rs.6, 599.00 as requested and required by the Complainant was processed into his original mode of payment on 23rd October, 2019 vide refund reference number 1UJU9HK60000K1RMP5PG.
It is submitted that the customer support team had already informed the Complainant about the issuance of refund for the said Product.
In case, the Complainant has not received the refund in the original mode of payment selected while placing the order, he/she is requested to kindly contact the customer care department of the concerned bank.
The refund has been made from the nodal account managed by the designated bank as per the RBI circular dated 24.11.2009 on operation of nodal account: https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Mode=0&Id=5379.
Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of an intermediary and we are not the seller/manufacturer of the products listed on our Website. The products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers.
In view of the above, the issue stands closed.
