We have perused the complaint received from Mr. Gagan ("Complainant") and find that he had ordered for Aashirvaad Select Superior Sharbati Atta, 5kg and Peril Perfect Active and etc. ("Products") from an independent third party sellers on the website: www.amazon.in ("Website").
It is submitted that a refund for a value of Rs. 2033.20, as requested and required by the Complainant was processed into his bank account on 9th November, 2019 vide refund reference number 74332749314931272141592.
In case, the Complainant has not received the refund in the original mode of payment selected while placing the order, he is requested to kindly contact the customer care department of the concerned bank.
The refund has been made from the nodal account managed by the designated bank as per the RBI circular dated 24.11.2009 on operation of nodal account: https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Mode=0&Id=5379.
Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of an intermediary and we are not the seller/manufacturer of the products listed on our Website. The products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers.
In view of the above, the issue stands closed.
