I purchased a flat in silicon city project by amrapali group, *uming it as a reputed builder. I booked the flat in 2010 and completed all payments by 2014. Its april 2017 today, still did not get the flat possession. Neither is the construction complete.
I've been to their sales office for more than 50 times now. Every time they come up with new new justifications causing the delay in delivery.
This time, one official said, : we are not getting the materials i. E supply of
Pipes and electrical fittings, hence we are unable to complete the
Finishing but sir, your flat is almost 90% ready. (Biggest lie of all times)
Well, i did some research and came to know some facts regarding
Amrapali.
- they have to pay around 394 crores dues to noida authority.
- till date, they have paid 194 crores.
- only after they complete the payment of dues, will the noida authority
Issue certificate of completion. And, only then can the buyer get the
Property registered.
- some buyers have taken partially furnished flats in silicon city and are
Agitated by services.
- many buyers have lodged complaints regarding delay and requested
Authority officials to audit the current status of towers.
Now, as a buyer, i realise that it was a bad decision on my part and feel cheated and deprived. For a hard earning chunk of people like us, we feel guilty and repent our decision of investment in amrapali.
Buyers beware! - don't invest any more money in amrapali group.
This downfall of reputation and defamation of amrapali group and its cmd dr anil kr sharma is an another example or reflection of vijay mallya, chairman of kingfisher group. Both these *-holes and * heads took money from the common public, had fun, diverted it to other projects so as to raise more capital and eventually landed up nowhere, with the empire and projects declared as "fraud"!
Overall: anil kr sharma is an example of big failures in real estate business can result in huge monetary losses and backlash.
