[Resolved]  Apple hospital Kolhapur — Hospital provided wrong information

Name of the Patient :Laxmi Kadam
My mother was suffering from Fibrolipoma for we have admitted toher in apple hospital Kolhapur.
After the consulting with doctor, they said operation is required.
So I raised the cashless request against my mediclaim policy (Family Health Plan(TPA) Ltd)
During admission, FHPL had raised the query regarding the same. Hospital replied earlier that general anesthesia is required. Considering this statement, they sent approval. Because general anesthesia can be given when hospitalization is required.

But at the time of discharge, when FHPL asked hospital to share OT notes, it was mentioned in those notes that Local anesthesia was given &not the General.

Hence incorrect information provided by hospital, claim rejected by Insurance Company and because of that my mother stay increased by 2 days,
Total Hospital bill increased to 31K.
I would to request to hospital to relook on the bill.
