I had taken Malaysia local sightseeing and meal[dinner] package from ARV holidays for the dates:26-31 August 2015. This package included dinner with a condition that the restaurants will walkable from our hotel accommodation. Please find below, mail from the agent On Jul 21, 2015 4:25 PM, "Vandana Singh" wrote: Dear Mam, first Please confirm me Petronas twin tower you want include in this package or not. 2. Please mention the distance from the hotel to the Indian restaurant. You havent confirmed if it is walk able.= yes walkable 3. Also elaborate on the places and ticets covered in day1 city tour.= yes every thing included On the first day, I discovered that the restaurant where the dinner coupon was provided to us was more than 15kms away from my accommodation.I had to spend Rs.1500 to and from the restaurant unwantedly. I immediately called Vandana, my tour agent.She argued that the restaurant was indeed walk able from our restaurant .After lot of discussions, she accepted her mistake and promised us that she will refund the amount for the next 3 days dinner coupon. Please find below, the email conversation. Vandana Singh Aug 27 to me Dear Sir, Greeting from ARV Holidays Pvt Ltd !!! As per our discussion, I am cancelling your 3 dinner coupon, only today s dinner not able to cancel and we will refund you INR :2100/- Total. Please confirm us... Based on the above email confirmation, we didn’t use the dinner coupon for the next 3 days. After coming back to india, they are now dragging the refund for 2 months stating that we have used the coupon. How can we use the coupon if it was not provided to us in first place? ARV holidays has a Malaysian partner ‘Redapple’. ARV now claims that red apple is not giving them refund as they are arguing that we took the coupon. Redapple takes signature from guests for the service they provide. Please see the attachment for the services provided. This indicates clearly that we haven’t taken the meal vouchers from them. When we are spending lakhs for an international tour why will we beg them for 2k. It is not about money, it is about being cheated. ARV holidays is a big time cheat. They have an extremely incompetent agent Vandana [Ph. No: [protected] ] who doesn’t understand or speak proper English.It takes lot of follow up to make her understand what we really want. Her standard answer for any question is ‘Yes ma’am / yes sir’. Her incharge Arun [ blames us for everything and doesn’t take the slightest effort to solve customer’s problem. Dear Mr. Arun,

Please check all your communication and we always request our guest that they should take meals {lunch and dinner} there only, so they get flexibility. We Only include breakfast in our package. But you insisted to include the meal coupons in the package, which we did. Once you arrive there in Malaysia, you informed us that you do not want to go for meals as restaurants were away. So in that case also we manage to cancel 1 Dinner coupon. It is not possible to cancel the pre purchased services at last minute. Since on international trip, we have to always pay for all services before guest check-in, so our guest don't face any service issue.
Even after this, we had already processed your refund from our end on 19th Oct. 2015. You can find below the transaction details.

Dear Sir

I have investigated the matter and due to non payment till last minute your booking was cancelled. Rajesh was keep on following with Mr. Rangith and Haran both on balance payment. But you were keep on telling that guest phone is not reachable or he is out of coverage. You paid the amount finally after many follow ups on by Sunday 25th Nov. Where as your guest had to travel on 29th. Bookings were cancelled due to non payment of balance in time.
Please find below the mail, which was sent on 24th Nov after many many follow up. Even then you did not make payment.
