Asianet Set Top Box – no follow up on complaint I am an Asianetsubscriber bearing id no AA90582221 and I have availed annual maintenance contractor my set to box which is valid till 28.10.2014. In spite of repeated requeststo look into the malfunctioning of the set top box no action was initiated byAsianet Satellite Communications. I have made 3 attempts during the last weekof may to get the problem rectified, but failed. One day my wife received a call from a service guy asking for a payment of 1250 for a new set top box. He stated that the present one need to be replaced, even without looking into the problem. I don’t understand why I need to pay when I have a service contract. Now a days the quality of service from Asianet havedeteriorated so much that one tends to think of m igrating to some other service provider. I am a subscriber since its inception and considering the longassociation I had with Asianet, I request authorities to look into the matterand take corrective action.
