Ticket no.- WC1544 & GB 00029408 3. sms Dated on 22nd October 2014 Sir, I am a customer of Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd, for the past three years . The service was found impeccable, but recently I am getting trouble with the poor customer service. On 11th oct 2014, a complaint was given to the customer care department Through telephone & online about the failure in connection . The service men came to my home on 16th Oct 2014 and told that reason is the malfunction of the set-top box . On the next day itself, a call from the service centre and asked for a payment of Rs.900 for the service cost of set -top box I am not willing to pay any service cost for Set top box, because of two reasons 1. Set top box is the sole property of service provider (as per TRAI regulations) 2. Complaint of the Set top box is due to the effect of lightning through the cable net work, we are unable to disconnect the cable from set top box for any immediate reasons. I request the authorities to look in to this matter and take corrective action or disconnect the above said connection and refund my balance amount with immediate effect.
