Asianet Satellite Communications — Not providing internet service for hours on end with no clear solution even after payment | |||
Asianet has either been throttling the internet speeds or has massive drops and are unable to comply with the agreements according to the package they offer. Initially they said the issue could be the router and I should upgrade it to a faster one. So I upgraded it through them. The internet was good for a few days and now its completely gone. I have no internet service and I have called customer care several times and they make up different things - "Restart after 10 mins, it will be resolved", "There is an issue and we'll send the technician asap", "It will take upto 24 hours to resolve", "We dont know when the technician is available, so we cannot give you a definite time". As I work from home, I requested them to resolve the matter as soon as possible and send the technician urgently as the weekend approaches and it wont get resolved for another 2 days. They were unable to provide surity if it will get resolved before the week, which means another 2 days of no internet service. I have made a payment for full year a few months back and requested them to provide the steps for termination of my connection and process my refund. Again they keep dodging the question. I tried calling the Nodal Officer (phone number from their website) and there is no answer or return calls. In terms of proof, I dont have anything as the conversations took place over the phone and just that internet is not working. I am currently using mobile service but I am unable to use it for work due to low speeds and my work requires me to connect to servers in the US Was this information helpful? | |||
