Did you know that there is a reduced warranty on track pro. So while you purchase a regular central locking kit from Autocop for say INR 3k it has a warranty of 3 years but on the expensive trackpro kits the warranty is reduced to 1 year? The reduced warranty applies to the central locking kit as well. I bought this product for INR 9.5k in December 2012 without looking at the changed warranty, and am now in a spot as only now I have discovered the reduced warranty.
It is market knowledge that central locking systems always come with a 3 year warranty. So unless Autocop specifically mentions on the package prominently that the system is with a reduced warranty, does not this amount to some kind of malpractice?
Would the courts not enforce a 3 year warranty considering a market knowledge amounts to implied warranty contract?
