[Resolved] Axis Bank — Account Closure Ignorance(NRO Account) | |||
Currently I own 3 bank accounts(2 NRO & 1 NRE) under the same customer id. I have submitted an account closure request on 9th April 2021 by submitting a form to my home branch to close one of my NRO bank account. The bank employee had shredded up my passbook and ATM card after handing over the filled form to him. After 9th April I have visited the branch 2 more times to know the status but every time it was promised to me that the approval is on the way and once it comes the account will be closed and the bank will let me know. Today is 29th April almost after 20 days of submitting the form I don't believe that my request is taking further up. I am a loyal customer of the bank and now own a NRI account, if my account could not be closed then I will switch my bank account to some other bank. I really want a action against the branch and the person who took my form for false promise and want immediate closure of my account.
