Myself Sarat Bushan kallepalli. MY axis bank credit card has been used by fraudsters to do online transaction of 33, 000 at 1.40 PM on early hours of 5th of April
I have not shared any OTP which I received at 1.38 to 1.57 PM.
Early morning at 8 AM seeing the messages, I have registered complaint
Axis bank ( service request SAK0000XXXXXX)
Flipkart ( service requestIN[protected]XXX)
Cyber crime ([protected]XXXX)
I was told that enquiy would take 120 days and i will be informed about the enquiry
On 15th april, Axis bank unilaterally reduced my credit balance. I called and asked them on 15th April. I was told Axis bank will call back and enquiry is still on
On 17th April they send me a credit card bill. I was not informed about the report or anything else.
I was forced to write an email on the 17th . After which I received response on 18th.
The investigation was not done properly. I would pay the entire amount if it was proven OTP is shared
Axis has lax policies and allowed transactions without my consent.
I request to ensure proper investigation is done before blame is passed to final customer
The truth is OTP was sent to my email. My email was also hacked. This email setting was default setting by Axis. I requested Axis bank to chanhe this . It was never changed
Axis bank mentioned that It did thorough Investigation Twice. It mentioned That OTP was shared on mobile and I have shared it. Their enquiry failed to notice OTP was sent to my email. This is the quality of their enquiry. I have complaned to Nodal Officer, RBi, 1970 and Consumer dept.
Axis Bank has mentioned that it has reverted 10000 of charges. But In reality it has reverted 5000 only. 5000 was reverted from Flipkart as transaction limit was crossed Axis bank is lying that it has reverted 10000. I want to proceed legally for all the trouble caused by Axis Bank please help
