Axis Bank — improper response for a fraud transaction | |||||
My name shravani. I received a call stating as customer service person on 11apr2016 requesting few details for transferring my reward points into my credit bill. Being totally unaware of the procedures, i provided the details and was shocked to see the transactions from account into payumoney and immediately raised the issue to customer service person and blocked my card. I requested them not to approve the transactions. As requested, i have sent the dispute forms for the same. However, i received my bill inclusive of 21000 fraud transactions. I reminded that the amount 21000 cannot be paid as it was not done by me. However, they additionally charged me with interest amount for 3 months more with no proper response. Its been more than an year, and no update received for the same. I feel the company is sharing personal information of the customers to some external sources, which are using the information for crime. Axis bank is an indirect supporter for the same. One more thing is axis bank never takes action on these issues as they do not have any functional security measures being placed to handle these issues. I am surprised how a bank can be permitted to function without even taking the liability to cancel a transaction when fraud, even informed in 2 minutes. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Personal loan for balance transfer disbursement was delayed due to which I was end up paying penalty under existing loan account. It was clearly a human error. Even after providing correct details, it wasn't processed correctly.
