I was traveling on Sunday the 9th of May from Bombay to Chennai.
I had not web checked as I overlooked the message saying it was mandatory. So I was charged a sum of Rs 200/
But I had received no such message saying that only one bag can be deposited in the baggage. I was in the impression that what matters is the weight. And whenever I have gone over the weight I have paid extra baggage charges and travelled. But on this day I was surprised when I pushed in 2 small bags where the total weight was 15 kgs, the lady in the counter charged me a sum of Rs 1000/- for the bag.
Now what difference it would have made if the bag had been taken. Why such heavy charges? If this is a new rule customers should be alerted about it. Anyways probably the lady was doing her job! But after this experience I feeI I will never want to travel by Indigo ever!!
