This is with reference to your concerns registered with us regarding policy cancellation.
We would like to inform you that your policy cancellation request has been declined by Insurer Exide Life Insurance Co. Ltd. on the basis of approaching Beyond Free-look period of 15 days and showing consent for policy login over verification call.
We also like to mention that Insurer has dispatched policy bond at your registered address and same has been received by you.
As per Regulation 6 (2) of (Protection of Policyholder’s Interest) Regulation 2002 issued by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, “the policyholder is at liberty to review the terms and conditions of the policy and has the option to cancel the policy by stating the reason for his/her objection within 15 days of the receipt of policy bond (Free Look Period).
Since we have not received the request for cancellation within the Free look period, we regret to inform you that the insurer will not be able to consider your request for cancellation .
We would further request you to stay invested and enjoy the policy benefit . You may refer to the terms and conditions of the policy to understand the various features and benefits associated with the policy.
