Bangalore University — Permission to clear backlogs | |||
I had enrolled my Bcom graduation in Bangalore University in regular course through paying fees in KLE Society's S.Nijallingappa college with registration number 05AZC10136. Due to misguiding of college authority and Bangalore university I was not able to complete my degree in given attempts for 1st Semester subject Principal of Management and 4th Semester Corporate accounting-2. I also visited college and Bangalore university multiple time begging to give an chance to write exam as i had applied for revaluation and its results were not shared nor gave opportunity to take exams again after given attempts. Now many companies are not agreeing my graduation done in Dr CV Raman open university for Bcom course and is rejecting my profile. It is very hard to survive and due to which i'm working for lesser salary profile though i'm having talent to grow. My life is ruined and no hope in living my life. Please help me. Should we not get opportunity to clear exam in Bangalore university or get job with distance education. My profile is getting rejected in MNC company like Accenture, TCS etc. If no proper justice is given I need to kill myself or live poor for life time. there are many students who have backlogs, and still not able to clear there degree due to many personal reason and financial reason, and Bangalore university rules that student have to clear there backlogs within three year after there college this rules his very bad this rules wont help student in anyway this rule should be changed, and they should think of student's future and help, please government have to do need full to student ...

I have 1 backlog in 5th SEM B.COM from the 2009 batch. I am not given a chance to re-appear for my exam as an exception after multiple efforts reaching out to the Bangalore University. Request any official looking into this matter to rethink about a students career and promote 1 last attempt to re-appear for their exams. I am sure we have a lot of students who are affected in the similar situation with just 1 backlog and not given a chance to re-appear.

I'm was studying in Vijaya Evening College 2010 Batch, where in I have a black-log in 3rd Sem (Corporate Accounting-II). Last year I wasn't able to write my exam, as I was medically i'll. And this year on 29th September' 2016, I had been to college to pay my exam fee and surprisingly they collected my fee and gave me a receipt. After few day I got a call from my college staff on 14th October' 2016 and he stated that the Bangalore University have cancelled the examination for the 10 Series batch, due to he asked met to come and collect the fee paid for the exam & return the receipt issued from the college authorities. It is terrible to see that the exams are on November' 2016, and 15 day before to that the Bangalore University have done like this.
I have only 1 back-log and I badly want to clear. I would request Bangalore University to provide a Single chance for student like us. So, that we can lead a better and successful Life's.

I have black-log in some subjects batch 2009.please help me out to clear all my subject by conduct the exam as soon as possible.if you give us chance to clear subject it help to proceed further in our life .i know its my fault but than to because of some personal issues unable to clear my subject for past 4 years . if Bangalore university rethink about back-log students future definitely you can helps us by giving chance to reappear .

This is a humble request to the respected University to arrange for exams and help us make our future. It would mean a lot to all the students out there having similar issues.

Bengaluru: The Bangalore University (BU) which is celebrating its golden jubilee year has come out with a unique initiative, which is expected to help lakhs of its alumni to realise their dreams of clearing various examinations.
As per the plans, those students who were not able to complete their degree course as they failed in a few subjects can now appear for a re-exam and realise their dreams of completing the course. A decision in this regard was taken at the academic council meeting of the university held on friday.
According to university officials, till now, only those who had cleared 50% of the total subjects were allowed to re-appear for the examinations and degree students had to complete all the subjects within six years.
“Many past students had approached the courts of law seeking permission to complete the course and asked for a relaxation in the examination rules.
So, the university has decided to hold examinations for all the candidates as one-time measure. All those who were not able to complete their degree course could utilise this option, ” said Mr. B Thimmegowda, Vice-Chancellor of the university.
University authorities said, if this is implemented, it is expected to help lakhs of past students who missed their university degree due to backlog subjects.
“Many were not able to complete their degrees due to various reasons. Many of them are now leading retired lives. This initiative is expected to help everyone, ” informed an officer.

I m Sabrish. I got my results day before yesterday I have failed in only 1 subject and whereas to clear that 1 subject I need to wait for a year being jobless and can't pursue my further studies. Please give us a chance for supplementary or give me a chance to write that subject in 5th semester for the coming year on Nov-Dec.
