[Resolved] Big Bazaar / Futurebazaar / Future Retail / Hometown — Delayed Delivery of Bed | |||
Dear Sir I purchased Magna Superstorage Queen Bed from Your store at Lodha Xperia Mall, Nilje Village, Dombivali East. My order number is [protected] dated 26th Jan 2017. I was told before billing that the normal delivery time is 10 days and the bed will be delivered to me by 7th Feb 2017. I made the full payment through credit card and after billing it was told to me by the store person that since the stocks are not available, the delivery will be made by 17th Feb 2017. I still agreed. On 16th Feb 2017, I received a message stating my delivery is rescheduled for 25th Feb 2017. I called up the customer care who ensured me that my problem of delayed delivery will be resolved within 24 hours. However I dint get any call back on the same. Finally, after patient waiting, I went to the store myself on 24th Feb 2017, wherein it was told to me that due to internal processes the delay was caused. The store Karta at your store Mr Parab was extremely rude and while i was irritated at the overall inconsiderate behavior of your staff, he kept on saying He didnt understand why I was making such a big issue of delayed delivery. Also he was arrogantly saying that if you dont want the bed we will cancel the order. Let me tell you sir, that since Home town agreed to sell that bed to me, you have entered into a contract with me. For which I have paid full amount towards the bed on the same day while i purchased the bed. You have my money and you have the bed which is legally now my property. You can not delay the delivery neither you can mock your customer who is agitated. Today is 25th Feb 2017 and my bed is still not delivered to me. It pains to write this letter to a company who supposedly revolutionized Indian Retail sector. Kindly look into this matter seriously. I would seriously like to be compensated for the delays. Also I would like to understand if while purchasing the product if you ask for immediate payments why should you take 45 days to refund my amount in case of cancellation One very angry customer Was this information helpful? | |||
