Dear Sir,
I recently purchased BOSE SOUND BAR 900 along with woofer. My problem started as soon as i made payment.
Case
Once purchase was made i was asked if would like to take product right now, and the system can be installed by yourself just down load the BOSE app. I clearly told that i am not that techo savy i it would be great help if some one can install or start the system for me. To which the answer was please pay Rs 2000+ for engineer visit to set up the system. After lots of debate it was agreed that someone from showroom will bring the system and show.
Next:
The system was brough by one of the salesman to my home, he unpacked and then tried to down load the BOSE app on my appple tablet but could not do, stating that my wifi is slow. He somehow showed system working using his app. The woofer was still not connected remotely .
Next day i took my tablet to store and asked salesman please down load the BOSE app, he tried but failed and clearly told it was not his problem please contact customer support and he cant help .
Now back at home i called BOSE CUSTOMER support and requested for help, on phone i was told various instructions and some how system worked but woofer still connected by wire.
Very next day the sound from TV was not there thru the system.
Again i visited the the showroom and was told they are helpless please take support of engineer which will cost Rs 1700+, i argued this is very new product and i clearly told in start that i am not techo savy and unable to use product. He bluntly told he cant do anything do what you want. I told him i might consider going to Consumer court, to which he said you are most welcome but he cant help.
We are now stuck with sound bar and woofer purchased only 2 weeks back lying at home and not used.
If this mail reaches anyone in BOSE INDIA i request to assist me
Such pathetic after sale service i have never seen in mylife.
