Dear ladies and gentlemen,
I need to file a complaint against my electricity provider best.
I've been living in my apartment for a little over two years now - what happened to me during this time regarding power bills is unheard of in a civilised country like india - and it quite frankly boggles my mind how a company can act so fraudulenty against their consumers.

I was always under the impression that i paid way too much for our monthly consumption. We are a fairly modest family and do not turn on our ac very often for example.
I filed complaint after complaint with best directly, most of these complaints were left completely unanswered. Once i had a visitor from best who then showed me the meters in a seperate room in our tower - everything electronically controlled. Why i was being told over and over again that no physical meter reading was possible during the lockdown is beyond me; it is after all not a mechanical meter but an eletronical version that must be able to be read from afar.
On april 23rd i left mumbai to join my family in germany - we stayed there until 31st of july, hence well over three months.
Druing this time, two remarkable things happened: i was able to pull off a magic trick - three months in a row with the exact same consumption: 683 kwh, of course all with different bills.
The second story was our consumption while the apartment was completely empty (No fridge, no laundry, no dryer, no tv, once a week some ac, and some fans): i managed to consume way over 5.000 kwh in an empty apartment! This is two years worth of cosumption for a family of four, not three months in an empty apartment!!!
Please help me - i would really appreciate it.
