Dear Respected RBI,
My name is MaheshKumar Lingayat holding an ac with Canara bank number :[protected]. Wish to inform
you that since my Canara bank Debit card was lost while travelling in train on November 10, 2014. Have
raised a request via Customer care at 1:43 am to block the Debit card. Canara bank customer care
confirmed on call that the Debit card is blocked and there was no txns done. Inspite of confirmation
from Canara bank Customer care my Debit card was mis-used in malad for Rs. 10, 000/- on November 10,
2014. Later, again Rs.14, 500/- was withdrawn on November 11, 2014 inspite of insufficient funds in the
ac. Have submitted several complaints at Canara bank but there is no assistance Provided. Please find
the attached complaints addressed to Canara bank along with ac statement.
Please request your kind intervention since I was informed by Canara bank that the ATM txn done on
November 10, 2014 for Rs.10, 000/- was from Kotak Mahindra bank ATM.
I request your help in refunding the complete amount of Rs.24, 500 fraudulently withdrawn from my ac
inspite of blocking the Debit card.
Also i want compensation against the mental harassment and tocher by the bank.
