Took crop loan for 4 years back and loan is pending due to many reasons(flood, pandemic, personnel problems etc). Today recieved notices for reminder with same borrower name but different loan loan numbers and diff outstanding amounts. One of the loan is not taken but canara bank has sent notice to the borrower with additional loan amount which is never taken.
Clarification from Branch Manager:(Belgundi branch, Belgaum, Karnataka)
Loan and loan numbers are correct but borrower name is incorrect which is not a human error it's system bug, incorrectly sent to the borrower with correct manager wet signature on the notice.
Branch manager and staff is not taking responsibility for this just they ignore the concern and harrassing the customers giving some threats like we will take the legal action on borrower and will charge extra rs 10000 that will debit from the borrower account.
Borrower Condition:
Borrower is senior citizen and getting Atal pension from government. His account seized and not able withdrawn his own amount and now
Looking at two notices and additional loan, got hospitalized due to high BP.
Suggestion to Canara Bank:
