[Resolved]  Maruti / Spectra Motors — non receipt of RC Booklet/RC Smart Card

Hi,
I have purchased a maruti swift last year from Spectra motors. I got the delivery of the vehicle on 15/05/2012. it has been 13 month now as i have not received my rc book. Dealer involved is spectra motors, there representative have been giving me false assurance from last one year but till now nothing concrete has come out of it. my registration is done from virar as i used to live in vasai before shifitng to a new place and every time dealer says the rc book has come back returned to the rto. After enquiring in RTO they have not received the booklet back. I have been sandwiched between them from last one year had has to bear some addtional cost becuase of the following.
1. My car met with a minor accident and i was not able to get the insurance claim passed as i was not having the rc book .
2. Have to renew the insurance at a higher price as some other comapny was giving me at 13000 p.a but have to purchase from lombard as i have worked there and can get some approvals in case my case is stucked. but insurance costed me 20000 rs.
3. have been stopped by traffic cops and have to pay them fine for not haivng the rc book .

i have been harassed many a times becoause of this nad god forbid if i get stuck in some big accident i will not be able to recover back my vehicle as not having rc card. Really disappointed the dealer has dealt with the whole isssue.
