I had bought a car on 20th January 2022. Customer reference number - BOM#202192 .When it was brought to me for a test ride I heard some noises and some vibration. I was told by the sales advisor that it is some engine mount that’s probably broken but if you like the car otherwise you can get it repaired and the amount of repairs would be reimbursed to you in full. I trusted the sales advisor and paid the total amount and got the car. Now the process wasn’t told to me for reimbursement . Anyways I went to two different workshops to get the correct diagnosis. Both the workshops pointed out that all the three engine mounts (ABC) need to be replaced. I got an estimate and submitted and didn’t hear back from them for many days. Later when I followed up they said they can’t understand the parts involved and then said the estimate does not have GST number of the workshop. Then I took the car to the authorised service centre of the brand. They gave me an estimate which also had their GST number on it . They approved the repair amount ( they deducted some of the labour cost )after a few follow ups. But they asked me to get the invoice in their name that is CARS PAVILLION PRIVATE LIMITED and with their GSTIN on it which the brand in question clearly and categorically later called unethical and illegal and amounting to falsification of records. Cars 24 hasn’t resolved this but more than that I am appalled that cars 24 has audacity to ask me to something which is illegal or unethical. Moreover it seems to be well thought out strategy to trouble the customer so much that he gets frustrated and pays for the repair himself despite giving a so called no questions asked warranty or making false hollow promises during purchase. When I asked if I could go to third party workshops that i is go mechanic . They asked me to get yet another estimate on their name as an unsuspecting customer I Am expected to comply. My car with full amount paid, is lying in the parking lot and is m not able to drive it around the way I would like to for the fear that without repairs there could be further damage . I am taking whatever legal action possible against CARS24 and their sales team.

Updated by ajaymumbaiyari How can CARS24 make a customer ask for repair invoice in their company name when the customer is paying for the repair and it’s the customer whose cat is registered in the records of car brand . As I have informed them that the cat brand has categorically called this unethical and illegal and amounting to falsification of records, cars 24 is making an unsuspecting customer become a part of their illegal way of working
