[Resolved] Carzonrent — Fraud by Carzonrent | |||
Hi, I booked a self drive car from Carzonrent, booking id: 5533260 for 5 days. I returned the car on time and there was a small dent on the right gate of the car which I accepted and was marked (and signed) on the delivery form by the receiver. Normally carzonrent have a waiver of INR 4000 for damages which is already included in their exorbitant daily charges for self drive cars. So they purposefully charged INR 3700 which including taxes become INR 4162 (which is just above INR 4000). They have a stupid condition also where if the claim is above INR 4000, the whole amount will be charged to the customer. It is quite evident that INR 3700 was chosen so that they can charge me for the damage, otherwise the dent was so small that any service station would have repaired it within INR 2000. This is just a way to charge high rates to the customer when they give the car but charge them for the small damages also. Pure fraud by Carzonrent. Please help me out here.
