Joshi The Additional Director, CGHS( HQ) CGHS Buildings, RK Puram, Sec. 12 New Delhi 22 [protected]@yahoo.co.in Sub. : Unnecessary harassment & Delay in drawing prescribed medicines From the counter due to the negative motivation & vindictive attitude Of the CMO of Shyambazar Wellness Center No.05 at Kolkata, request intervention of: Ref.: Beneficiary Id No.4348072 a) serial No.208 dated 24.07.2015 b) serial No.10 dated 22.07.2015 Sir, With due honor I lay before you the following facts for your kind intervention so that the senior citizen CGHS beneficiaries are not treated as beggars and not to think that the medicines are supplied due to the mercy and goodwill of CMO, Shyambazar, Wellness Center 05, Kolkata : 1. This month, it is noticed that as per instructions of CMO medicines are supplied by the pharmacist after cutting the original strips in denomination of 10 or 5 Tablets viz.Flotral 10 mg which consisting of 30 nos. in one strip is issued to me in 3 cut pieces, in every piece name of the medicine and the expiry date is not visible . 2. The tablet Pantocid DSR one strip is consisting of 10 tablets supplied me in 2 cut pieces of 5 nos. each. 3. Rosuvastain 2 strips consisting of 30 tablets supplied me in 4 strips (10 + 5) x2 4. Arbitel -20 consisting of 10 tablets per strip supplied me in 5 nos in 4 strips and 10 nos in 1 strip i.e. 5 strips 5. Xyrolic and all the other tablets are issued in cut pieces etc & etc 6. Not only to me it is followed for every patient 7. It is experienced that most o[censored]s are short in eyes or having high powered spectacles for which minute letters such as name of the tablets mfg. Date & expiry date can not see without high powered magnifying glass, also it is not mentioned /printed in every cut piece Moreover, there so many tablet are identical to look at, in such cases it is very difficult to segregate by seeing the foils only. 8. The pharmacist is consuming a long time for cutting the strips, as a result a long queue is prevailing all alone in this overcrowded dispensary and it is created artificially to harass the old aged patients, 9. I have given verbal retranslation to the CMO expressing our difficulties but it is of no use rather it is told that he will continue this process if required I may complaint to his higher authorities. 10. I think, it is insulation and harassment / punishment to the senior citizen CGHS beneficiaries who served the nation for a long time with full responsibilities and dedications even some o[censored]s holding the post of Gazetted Officers. Pl. look into the matter so that at this age the senior citizen CGHS beneficiaries are not harassed due to the negative motivation and vindictive attitude of CMO, Shyambazar Wellness Center ( No.05), Kolkata.
