Chennai Corporation — Removal of Garbage - Pammal Municipality

Sir, I am V.Parasuraman residing at Mantri Navaratna Apartments, MGR Street, Cholavaram Nagar, Chromepet, Chennai - 600044. The apartment is being handed over by builder an year ago and around 170 family have taken possession out of 272. We have also paid our first year property tax as well. The garbage is being dumped at the common area at our front main gate by the maintenance team and is being cleared by Pammal municipality folks once a week. This causes breeding ground for insects and mosquitos. With great efforts from few members residing in the apartment last week huge garbage was cleared by calling external agencies. if the garbage is not being taken on a daily basis will lead to huge pile up of the waste which ultimate results in people residing within the apartment (There are many senior citizens and infants residing within the apartment) and surrounding people spread with infectious disease like Dengu, Malaria etc. I kindly request authorities concerned to get the garbage cleared on a daily basis at the earliest and restore sanitation.
