Dear Sir / Madam,

We purchased shirt from Wills Life Style store of Center Square of Baroda. After the purchase, I found it is a slim shirt and since I am healthy, I need regular sized shirt. So we went back to store and asked if it can be exchanged, the store executive agreed to replace it. In my absence, my wife visited the store to exchange it, she was told that she will need to pay more money since it had lesser discount, my wife paid it and took the replacement. Well, it was actually same discount shirt previous 3 days, so after arriving from my outstation tour, I enquired the stores executive why the disparity of discount on same shirt on two different days. He said, it is company policy, they cannot replace shirt with same discount if its purchased during Mon-through-Friday. I was curious to know why, he said that during Mon-through-Friday, the discount code according to their computer system is punched as per customer's name. On week ends, the discounts are higher, so it is punched in the name of the company. My shirt was billed under discount code of customer, so I will not be able to avail the higher discount even if I visit the store during the week end to avail an exchange. I had to purchase a replacement with higher price !

I want to get confirmation from Wills Management if the statements of Stores executive is valid ?

Or be prepared I am planning to take them to consumer forum like this !
